Miss Iro Ann Alford, daughter of Mr. W. Alford of Graham, died at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. T.J. Mauldin at Bryson. Graveside services were officiated by Revv. R.E. Parker, pastor of Bryson Methodist Church.

Miss Alford was born in the Henry Chapel community. Her mother died 20 years ago and she has made her home with her grandparents since that time. Her grandparents have furnished her to a good home and she was devoted to them.

When 13 years of age, she was converted and joined the Methodist Chruch and during the past 20 years has been a consistent member of the church.

She has suffered for three years with dropsy and her death was not unexpected. Two of her sisters in California, a brother in Oklahoma and a sister in Commerce were unable to attend the funeral. She was a fine young woman and her loved ones and friends mourn her untimely death.
