She was the daughter of James Robert Wilson Sr and Sarah Elizabeth Mozella Slavens of Robertson Co Tennessee. She married Clarence on June 23,1903 in Nashville, Tennessee.
She died in childbirth, and the baby – Charles Oscar Adams died the next day and was buried with his mother in her grave.
