Steve N. Halsey died Dec. 12, 2000 at St. Charles Medical Center in Bend. He was 60 years old.
He was born Aug. 14, 1940 in LaGrande. He attended schools in Crook County, graduating in 1958.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and outdoor activities.
He is survived by sons, Mark Halsey of Chicago, Ill. and Scott Halsey of Vancouver, Wash.; brothers, Bill Halsey and wife of LaGrande, Jim Halsey of Prineville and Jack Halsey of Pendleton; two grandchildren; 12 nieces and nephews and companion Judy Walter.
