John Stretton, yeoman, of East Hampton died testate with a will dated Oct. 2, 1721, which was proved Dec. 5, 1735. He made his brother-in-law John Conkling his executor, and the witnesses to the will were Robert Hudson, Matthew Mulford, and Samuel Gardiner. The church records state that he died on Feb. 19, 1734/35 at about 7 P.M., aged about 90 years.
