Sandusky Register August 4, 1893:
"A Telegram received in this city yesterday announced the death at the residence of her son-in-law in Avondale, Cincinnati, on Wednesday, the 2d, of Mrs. Alice L. Wheeler, daughter of the late General W. D. Lindsley, of this city. The remains will arrive here today and the funeral services will be held at the vault in Oakland cemetery this afternoon at half past three o'clock."


Sandusky Register August 4, 1893:
