W.T. Boring, a highly esteemed citizen of Mapleton, died at 7:40 this Wednesday morning, June 20, 1945, at his home in Mapleton, death being caused by cerebral hemorrhage. He had been ill for three weeks.
He was born on May 15, 1854, in Union Township, the son of Michael T Boring and Rebecca Sloan Boring.
He is survived by his widow, the former Maggie R Wright of Union Township, to whom he was united in marriage on November 24, 1881.
Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: J. B. Boring, Huntingdon; Harry Boring, Mapleton; Edgar Boring, Mill Creek; Galus M. Boring, Allensville; Mrs Annie Madsen, Hartford, Conn.; Mrs Nora Beames, Hartford, Conn.; Mrs Elizabeth Ham__, Shandon, Calif.; and Mrs Alice Adams of Brattleboro, Vt.
He was a member of the Methodist Church of Mapleton and of the Sand Rock Bible Class of that church.
