About 1870 they took in Charles D Ohls after the death of his mother Mary. In 1860 they had been caring for Miss Mary Ohls. They continued to raise Charles till adulthood. His father, William Henry Ohls and new wife moved West after 1883.
Artleys are buried next to the Ohls at Mottville Cemetery. Much Yucca was removed to expose the stones - which were then treated, scraped and scrubbed before photographing. They could use more treatment. Submitted by family friends - Stone Preservationists - Peter & Anita Rodgers.
