Nellie E. Coleman, 80, of Caldwell and formerly of Nampa, died Wednesday, July 18, 1990, at the Caldwell hospital. Mrs. Coleman was born May 27, 1910, at McCann, Neb. She was reared and educated in Nebraska. She married Arlo B. Coleman May 3, 1928, at Martin, S.D. Following their marriage they made their home in Nebraska until moving to Nampa in 1957. Mr. Coleman preceded her in death Aug. 5, 1988. She had recently moved to Caldwell. She attended the Boise Valley Church of the Brethren.

Nellie is survived by five sons, Robert, of Hopkins, Mich., Donald or Orange, Calif., William "Bill" in California, and Gerald L. and Peter M., both of Nampa; five daughters, Ardeth Cobble of Kuna, Iris Henning of Meridian, Beverly Serres of Chadron, Neb., and Juanita Power and Sharon Haylett, both of Caldwell; two sisters, Joyce Stone of Casper, Wyo., and Celia Halstead of Oakdale, Neb.; a brother, Ted Galloway in South Dakota; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a son, Walter B. Coleman, four brothers, a sister, three grandsons, two granddaughters, a great-grandson and a great-granddaughter.
