Orrion Jackson Linam, 85, of Loraine, died Monday, February 27, 1989 at Midland Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were at 10 am. Wednesday at the Loraine First United Methodist Church with Rev. David Stevens, pastor, officiating, assisted by Rev. Reta Richards. Burial was in Loraine Cemetery, directed by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Born February 5, 1904 in Dover, Arkansas, he was a farmer. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Loraine and had been a resident of Loraine since 1909. He married Leona Tillison July 21, 1923 in Roscoe.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Survivors include his wife, Leona of Loraine; a daughter, Mrs. Presley (Billie) Powell of Midland; two sons. Tommy Linam of Lake Jackson and Talmadge Linam of El Paso; a sister-in-law, Laura Linam of Roscoe; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two nieces, and one nephew.
