THOMAS FLEM PORTER
Thomas Flem Porter, 74, Platte City, died yesterday at the home. He was a lifelong resident of Platte County. Mr. Porter was a retired farmer and a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church, Platte County. Surviving are his wife, Birdie Porter of the home; Three sons, Francis Porter, Parkville; Floyd Porter, Platte City; and Lyle Porter 8706 North Charlotte; Three daughters, Mrs. Helen Tudor, and Mrs. Leveta Sharp, both of Platte City and Mrs. Leora Lindsey, Farley; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Rollins, Platte City; fourteen grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:30 o'clock at the Platte City Christian Church; burial in Platte City Cemetery.
