Funeral services for Lois ENGLAND, 70, of Sallisaw were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Way of the Cross Free Will Baptist Church in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Marlon Douthit officiating. Burial was in Peters Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Mrs. England was born Oct. 12, 1928, in Sloan's Chapel community, to Coleman and Eula Allen FITZSIMMONS. She died Wednesday Feb. 24, 1999, in Sallisaw. She married Arvil ENGLAND Nov. 6, 1946, in Van Buren, Ark. He preceded her in death Oct. 5, 1997.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Colin and Gail ; two granddaughters; four sisters, Dorothy, Joyce, Emmalene and Colene; and one brother, Leon. Mrs. ENGLAND was also preceded in death by one sister, Pauline FITZSIMMONS, and one brother, Carney FITZSIMMONS.
