Helene Beatrice Stanfield passed away Oct. 11, 1995 at Shy's Convelecent Hospital in San Bernardino, Ca., after a brief illness. She was lacking four days of being 84 years old. Mrs. Stanfield is preceded in death by her husband Clark Leland Stanfield, her son Jack Leland Stanfield, and daughter Barbara Ann Webb.
She was born in Great Falls, Mt. on Oct. 16, 1911, where she and her sister Hazel Carver were raised. Mrs. Stanfield married her husband Clarke, Oct. 3, 1927. They resided in Great Falls, Mt. until 1942, when they moved to a farm, Helene was a homemaker.
The family then retired and moved to Luecadia, ca. in 1963 where Helene lived until her husband passed away in 1978. She then moved Riverside for a brief time, then moved to San Bernardino.
She is survived by two daughters, Jeanne Barber of San Bernardino, Ca. Nancy Gressang of Nuevo, Ca. six grandsons, Steven Stanfield of Geyser, Mt., Michael Damon of San Bernardino, Ca., Mark Reno of San Bernardino, Ca., Ronnie Damon of Austin, Tx., Bruce Gressang of Nuevo, Ca., and Christopher Gressang of Nuevo, Ca.. Four granddaughter's, Sandi Gressang of Riverside, Ca., Kelly Bernard of Louisiana, Wendy Webb of Texas, Becky Webb of Louisiana, twenty-two great grandchildren, and one great great grand child.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
