Alexander M. Argabright, 67, widely-known meat dealer, died at his home here Monday at 5:30 p.m. following an illness of three weeks.
He was born in Piketon, December 29, 1877, a son of Augustus and Margaret West Argabright. He was preceded in death by a brother, John.
Mr. Argabright is survived by his wife, Mattie; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Davis of Piketon; a grandchild; a brother, Elmer Argabright of Waverly; five sisters, Mrs. D.B. Smith of Dayton, Mrs. Charles Brewer of Farmersville, Mrs. Ann Hatters of Hilliard, Mrs. Oscar Daniels of Columbus, Mrs. Alice Snyder of Piketon.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the residence, Rev. Waid C. Radford officiating. Interment will be in Mound Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Waverly.
