Mrs. Elizabeth, wife of Uncle Jabe Banks, living a few miles Northwest of Springdale, died Monday afternoon. The remains were interred in the cemetery at Elm Springs, being conducted by Rev. Gilmore, pastor of the South Methodist church, at that place. The deceased had been in ill health for the past few years and her death was not unexpected. She was a member of the South Methodist church and had lived a faithful and consistent Christian life. Miss Elizabeth Gamble and Mr. Jabe Banks were united in marriage in 1861 and to them was born four children, all of whom are are living, as follows: Jefferson Jabez Banks, Samuel Green Banks, John Reziah Banks and Mrs. Sarah Terry. The husband and children have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.
