Mrs. Mary N. Cool, 81, of Grand Detour, widow, of the late Lincoln Cool, passed away at her home at 8:45 o'clock Tuesday evening after a long illness. Funeral services will be held at the home at 3:00o'clock Thursday afternoon, the Rev. Fr. Chandler Sterling officiating, and burial will be in Grand Detour cemetery. Friends may call at the Staples funeral home until 10:00 o'clock Thursday morning. Mrs. Cool was born in the vicinity of Durand Oct. 14, 1862 daughter of Jacob and Matilda Cooper Bucher, and is survived by three brothers, Thomas Bucher of Durand and Charles and John Bucher of Colfax, Wash., and several nieces and nephews.
