Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Doom Brothers funeral home at New Carlisle for John Carl Minnich, 49, of 321 W. Pleasant st., who died in the Clark County Sanatorium at 6:30 a.m. Friday. Burial will be made in the Enon Cemetery.
Mr. Minnich was a native of Bethel Township, and had served in the World War.
He had been ill since 1930, and had been a patient in the sanatorium for a month. Prior to entering the institution, he had been employed as an editor on the Federal Writers' Project in Clark County, and, at one time, he was a member of the editorial staff of The Sun.
He was a member of the American Legion.
His widow, Marcelle, and two sons, John and Roger, survive.
