Lohman Presley Chambers passed away on Thursday, 06 February 2003, in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. He was 82


Mr. Chambers was born on Monday, 03 January 1921, to Arthur Albert Chambers and Sallie Myrtle Boen Chambers, in Gorman, Eastland County, Texas. He was the second of six children born to this union.


He was united in marriage to Eulah Mae Archer around 1947. Mrs. Chambers preceded Lohman in death on Tuesday, 28 May 2002. They were married about 55 years. To their union were born two children: Charlotte Ann Chambers and Cecil Presley Chambers.


Mr. Chambers was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, infant sister Zella Fae Chambers, and infant sister Floy Lou Chambers.


He is survived by son Cecil Presley Chambers, daughter Charlotte Ann Chambers Widdon, grandson Lohman D. Whiddon, granddaughter Dena Glasscock, sister Dorothy Dean Chambers Orendorff, sister Betty Sue Chambers Elliott, brother William Jack Chambers, four great-grandsons, and three great-granddaughters.


Visitation was conducted at Martin's Funeral Home.


Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday 10 February 2003, at Martin's Funeral Home Chapel.


Interment occurred at Holly Hills Memorial Park, of Granbury, Hood County, Texas.


Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Martin's Funeral Home of 100 South Morgan Street, Granbury, Hood County, Texas.
