Aaron Samuel De La Cruz (1992 - 2011)

Aaron Samuel De La Cruz, 19, passed away Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at All Saints Catholic Church. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary: 6 p.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Funeral Home.

Aaron was born April 1, 1992, in Fort Worth. He was a student at Fort Worth CAN Academy, pursuing his interest in auto mechanics. Aaron's passions were helping others, skateboarding, drawing and entertaining family and friends. He was a collector of Star Wars, Hot Wheels and Legos. His favorite band was Pink Floyd and he was a Texas Rangers fan. Although he was taken from us too soon, Aaron continues to help others by giving the gift of life by being an organ donor. His life will continue through others. Aaron was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Domingo G. Mireles, Joe L. De La Cruz and Martin L. Arredondo; and great-grandparents, Apa and Ama Moron, and Popo and Momo Mireles.

Survivors: Parents, Manuel and Mary Alice De La Cruz; brothers, Joel and wife, Maribel, James and Johnathan; sisters, Crystal and Olicia; nephew, Eric; nieces, Zoe and Julianna; grandparents, Rolando and Dora Perez, and Angela Arrendondo; aunts, Irma and Jesse Gonzalez, Virginia and Raymond Gomez, and Delia Blackman; uncles, John, Mike and Robert Mireles, and Carlos Arredondo; and numerous cousins.
