Obituary: Harry Watters, 87, died on Friday, October 23, 1959, in the Southside Hospital, Pittsburgh, following an illness of one month. A son of the late Samuel and Catherine McMurray Watters, he was born March 26, 1872 in Oakdale, and spent many years farming in the Oakdale vacinity. He was an Uncle of the late Samuel Watters who was for many years connected with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
He is survived by two sons, Ralph K. Watters of Pittsburgh and William H. Watters of McDonald. There are eight grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday in the Thomas Funeral Home, Oakdale, in charge of the Rev. C.J. Farmer, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, Oakdale. Burial was in the Oakdale Cemetery.
