Mrs. Ila Poland Stamper
OWENTON, July 6 --- Mrs. Ila Poland Stamper, 80, widow of Manless Stamper, Long Ridge, died today at the Hughes Convalescent Home. A native of Gallatin County, she was a member of the Pleasant Home Baptist Church, Eagle Hill, Owen County.
Survivors include four sons: Bryon Stamper, Bromley; Porter Stamper, Jonesville; Ralph Stamper, DeMossville, and Raymond Stamper, Ashland, Wisc.; two daughters, Mrs. Carry Stewart, Jonesville, and Mrs. Lucy Davis, Owenton, 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Poplar Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. John McCommon and the Rev. H. G. Howard. Burial will be in the Poplar Grove cemetery. The body is at Smithers-Coates Funeral Home here.
