Clyde T. Kester
Clyde T. Kester, 45, of 1023 East Winona Ave., owner of Kester Electric Motor Service on Warsaw, was dead on arrival at Murphy Medical Center at 8:35p.m. Sunday. Death was due to a heart attack. He had been in failing health for 2 1/2 years.
Anative of Wells Co., he was born July 25, 1927 to Charles and Nellie (Heeter) Kester. His marriage to the former Geneva Stucker occured July 24, 1945 at Huntington. He has resided in Warsaw since moving from North Manchester 17 years ago.
Survivors include his widow, Geneva, two sons, Thurl Kester, Warsaw, and Gregory Kester, 9, at home; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs Doyle (Willodean) Roberts, St. Joseph, Mich., Mrs. Burnis (Geneva) Flannery, Warsaw; and four brothers, Frank Kester, Paw Paw, Mich., Paul and Max Kester, both of North Manchester, and Rex Kester, Fort Wayne.
The Rev. James Overholt will conduct funeral services at 1:30p.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Home. Internment will be in Oakwood cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 3-5 and 7-9p.m. Tuesday and until the hour of service on Wednesday.
