died Monday in Health Inn Nursing
Home in Winchester after an extended
illness.
The funeral was Wednesday at Gallant
Riverview Funeral Home. The Rev.
Freeman officiated and burial was in
Flintville Cemetery.
A native of Arab, Ala., Mrs. Copeland
was the daughter of the late John
and Charlesy Woodruff Groover. She
as a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Mr. Sanders
Alonzo Copeland of Winchester; a son
Phillip Copeland; a daughter, Mrs.
Anita Jean Wiley; a sister, Mrs. Myra
Wright, all of Fayetteville; seven
grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
