Alfa C. Biltoft

Alfa C. Biltoft, 85, of Nampa, died Sunday, March 15, in the Nampa hospital. Mrs. Biltoft, a homemaker, was born March 10, 1902, at Ainsworth, Neb., where she was reared and educated. She married Ray Biltoft July 4, 1936, at Valentine, Neb. Following their marriage, they made their home in South Dakota for six years before moving to Long Pine, Neb. They then moved to the former Lewis family ranch south of Ainsworth. In October 1953, they moved with their daughters to Ontario, Calif., where they operated a chicken ranch. They retired in 1965 and moved to Nampa. Mr. Biltoft died May 23, 1975. She was a member of the Nampa First Baptist Church. She was a foster grandparent at the Idaho State School and Hospital in Nampa for 12 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Sharon (Mrs. Richard) Brockbank of Nampa and Rose Shine of Caldwell; two brothers, Jesse Lewis of Prosser, Wash., and Arthur Lewis of Alliance, Neb.; three sisters, Anna Payton of Nampa, Gladys Quinn of Albuquerque, N.M., and Goldie Boller of Ainsworth; a granddaughter; a grandson, and a step granddaughter. She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
