J. B. Bales, 83, of Buckhead, GA (Morgan Co.) died peacefully on Mon. April 25, 2011. He was preceded in death by wife Lois G. Bales in 2005. Survived by sons, Jerry and Ralph Bales; daughter, Diana Downey; 3 grandchildren; brothers, Victor L. Bales and Ralph Sims Bales. Mr. Bales was retired from the U. S. Army with over 25 years of service.
