LYMAN RESIDENT
DIES AT AGE 74

LYMAN, Wyo., Aug. 26--James Wiley Stewart, 74, died Thursday at his home in Lyman. He was born Sept. 6, 1875, in Morgan, Utah, a son of James and Eliza Corbitt Stewart. He came to Bridger Valley, Uinta county, with his parents in 1894 and had resided here since.

He married Mary Elizabeth Bluemel of Randolph, Utah, at Lyman on Nov. 24, 1898. He was a member of the high priest quorum, L. D. S. Lyman stake. He served as a commissioner of Uinta county for one term and as justice of the peace in Lyman for many years.

Survivors include his widow, Lyman; four sons, Alvin and Fred Stewart, Lyman; Willard Stewart, San Diego, Calif., and Roy Stewart, Granger; also 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted Sunday at two p. m. in the L. D. S. Lyman chapel by Bishop D. M. Field. Burial will be in Lyman cemetery, conducted by the Bills mortuary.
