EB "Rube" Wolverton worked as a supervisor for Guarantee Laundry and Drycleaners in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He saved his money and eventually purchased the laundry from the original owners. He expanded the cleaners to become the largest in the city. In the expansion, he built an new building on 11th street. The building was of the Art Deco design. In the late 1990's to 2000's the building was placed on the National Registry of Historic places and joins the numerous other Art Deco buildings in Tulsa on the registry for their Art Deco designs.
