Eventually, Bullitt, Dawson & Tarrant was formed, and finally Wyatt, Terrant & Combs, the states largest law firm. Tarrant helped formulate numerous large acquisitions, and was general counsel of the Louisville Transit Company. He served on the board of Churchill Downs, and was instrumental in turning back a hostile takeover attempt. His wife was Mary Kaye Park and she was buried next to him on 28 JAN 1984.
