Nellie Smiley On Thursday Sept. 18, 2003 Nellie Smiley went to be with our Lord in Heaven. Awaiting her with open arms will be her loving husband Kendall. Nellie will also be greeted by her mother and father, Jesus and Paula Chavez. Nellie is survived by her children, Teresa Smiley, Lyle Smiley, Matt and Diana Smiley, all of OKC, Kenneth and Leslie Smiley of Wichita KS, Susan and Daniel Barnhardt of Rapid City SD, and Paula and Roque Flores of Garden City KS. Nellie had 13 grandchildren and 8 great- grandchildren with 2 more on the way. Nellie had one brother, Mantin Enriquez of Wichita KS. She was born in Olathe, KS Oct 27, 1920. A Memorial will be held Sunday Sept. 21 at St Pat's Catholic Church 19th and Portland at 7:00 pm followed by a Rosary. Mass will also be there the next morning at 10:00 a.m. followed by a grave site service at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens located just east of County line Rd. on Northwest Highway.
