Isaac was a son to John and Susan Bassett. He was preceded in death by his sister. Louisa Bassett. Isaac was born soon after his parents arrived in Washington Co. They had previously resided in Missouri. Isaac married Miss A. M. Lewis on 06 Sept 1885; both were residents of the Carter Store community (Hicks). Isaac was 27 years, 1 month and 18 days old when he died. (Washington Co Marriage Book H, page 313).
