she was the late Omer and Nora Andrews Grubb and wife of the late Alvin T. Pendley.∼Lula Lorene Pendley, 87 of Morgantwon, Ky. passed away Tuesday June 28, 2011 at her residence. She was a Butler County native, daughter of the late Omer and Nora Andrews Grubb and wife of the late Alvin T. Pendley. Member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign War. Preceded in death by 3 brothers Quentin, Carl and Bradley Douglas Grubb and 2 sisters Altha Carroll and Ruby Belilies.
Lula Lorene Pendley is survived by 2 daughters Betty Robbins husband Garry of Morgantown, Ky. and Myrl MacDonald husband James of Louisville, Ky; 2 sons Norman Pendley wife Beverly of Huntsville, Ky. and Bobby Pendley wife Wava of Morgantown, Ky; 2 sisters Agnes Martin of Morgantown, Ky and Dean Ragland of Fairland, Indiana; brother Rayburn Grubb wife Linda of Morgantown, Ky; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday July 1, 2011 at 1:00pm with Bro. Wayne Dukes officiating. Burial will be in the Mt Zion Cemetery. Visitation Thursday June 30, 2011 1:00pm - 8:00pm and Friday 8:00am til funeral time at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
