Mr. Fangmeier was born September 19, 1890 near Kramer and lived in that vicinity all of his life. He was baptized on November 2, 1890 and confirmed at St. John's on April 16, 1905.
The deceased was wed to Miss Katherine Steuer on October 14, 1915. Three children, all boys, were born to them.
They made their home on a farm southeast of Kramer all the years of their married life except one which they spent near Indianola.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Elmer and Earl at home, and Mervin of Denver, Colorado; two brothers, William of Crete, and Fred at home; three sisters, Mrs. Sophie Henning and Mrs. Anna Henning of Crete and Mary Renner of Hallam; his step-mother, Henrietta of Crete; and one grandchild.
The Rev. W.L. Ernstmeyer officiated at the service and the male chorus sang. Burial was in the Kramer church cemetery.
