After retiring from the barbering trade, he worked as and assistant to the Pro Shop at the Miami Valley County Club in Dayton for two years. Since this time he has been making his home in Greeneville.

The following tribute was paid to the deceased by Rev. C. P. Jones.

It was with pain and grief that the people of Greeneville learned on Saturday morning of the passing of Mr. C. A. Parman, folloing an operation in Dayton, Ohio. Mr. Parman was one of our best known and popular barbers, having been connected with the Stroud Barber shop for many years, where he made many friends among men, women and children who were regular patrons of the shop. Always Joval and generous, he never looked on the dark side of life, He was the type of person who never grows old and this spirit of youthfulness won for him many friends.

In his religious life his influence was not felt as a leader but as a joyful, willing follower, ready to serve by lending freely a glad hand. He was a regular attendant at the Cedar Hill Sunday School and made that his place of worship, always helping with his time and money in any work of the Church.

His hief inters and delight was in his home. Always hospitable and a charming host, his friends looked forward with pleasure to the social visits in his home. He was a kind and affectionate husband, providing well for his beloved wife, a most devoted and loving son, always ready to minister to the wants and needs of his dear mother, and thoughtful and kind to all memebers of his family.

In his passing one is reminded that in life there is suffering, beyond death there is a fuller life and "All things work together for good to them that love the Lord."
