Charles Lee Adams, 81, Nampa, formerly of Cambridge, died Thursday, Nov. 7, at a Nampa nursing home. Mr. Adams was born Aug. 21, 1904, at Tryon, Okla., to Robert L. and Dora Clelland Adams. In 1910 he moved with his parents to Jerome where he was reared and educated. He married Blanche Bogle July 12, 1930, in Twin Falls and they farmed in Jerome for several years. In 1941 they moved to Cambridge where he started in the livestock hauling business. He owned and operated his business and hauled livestock throughout the Northwest and California. They moved to Nampa in 1966. He retired in 1981, and they have resided in Nampa since. Lee was well known among the cattle ranchers in the Northwest.
He is survived by his wife of Nampa; one daughter, Mrs. Doralee Hill, Union, Ore.; two stepsons, C.A. Mobley of Nampa, and Robert W. Mobley of Mission Viejo, Calif.; two brothers, Glen Adams and Don Adams, both of Salt Lake City, Utah; three sisters, Mrs. Berniece Metcalf of Nampa, Mrs. Alice Baldwin of Middleton, and Mrs. Margaret Bramble from California; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Darlene; one brother, Bill; and two sisters, Goldie and Leoma.
