Owen C Bailey a former resident of Clark’s Hill, died at Oakland, California last Tuesday. His body will arrive here Monday afternoon and will be taken to the home of his brother, John Bailey, at Clark’s Hill. Funeral services will be held there at 10:30 o’clock Tuesday morning, with Rev Kirlin, of Frankfort, in charge. Interment will be made in Union Cemetery, near Clark’s Hill. The deceased was born July 7, 1870, the son of F P and Hagar Bailey. He united in marriage with Hattie Bell in 1891 and spent a number of years of his life in Clark’s Hill. His wife and an infant son preceded him in death. The following relatives survive; three children, Forrest H Bailey, San Francisco, Cal; Wilburt L Bailey, Jefferson, Indiana and Mrs Edward Brewer, Clark’s Hill; two brothers, John Bailey, Clark’s Hill, and Burr Bailey, of Colfax.
