Henry Homer Harris was the son of Charles Bingley Harris and Nancy Elizabeth Warhurst. He was one of seven children. He first married Grace Cunningham at Marlow, Indian Territory, September 4, 1901; married Jennie Detta Higgins at Vinita, Oklahoma, October 26, 1914. He had three children. One little girl with his wife Grace that died before her first birthday. The other children, with Jennie, a girl and a boy. The son was stillborn. Elizabeth Amelia Harris, the daughter, lived a long and happy life. She never married.
