Funeral for retired 1st Sgt. Willis P Jolly, 77, Lawton, will be at 10 AM Monday at Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Cantrell, minister, officiating. Sgt. Jolly died Thursday in a Lawton hospital. Burial with military honors will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under direction of Becker Funeral Home. He was born Sept.20, 1922, in Royland, Texas, to James Pierce and Alice Catherine Jolly. He married Juanita Reeves on Oct.31, 1942, in Frederock. He grew up and attended school in Vernon, Texas He was in the Army for 27 years. He served in Korea and two tours in Vietnam. After retiring at Fort Sill he was employed by J&W construction. He was a member and past president of the Retired Service Personnel Club. He was also a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No 1163 and the American Legion. Survivors include his wife of the home; a daughter, Sandra Smith, Lawton,; three sons :Jerry Don and Dennis Jolly of Lawton; and Willis P, Jolly Jr., of Dallas; a sister, Alice Decker, Lawton;11 grandchildren and 10great grand children.
