VAUDA VELLA (BEASLEY) REID
Funeral services for Mrs. Vauda Vella (Beasley) Reid, 86, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2005, at Shiloh United Methodist Church with Bro. Craig Green officiating.

Burial was in Eckels Cemetery.

Mrs. Reid died Thursday, March 24 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.

Born October 25, 1918, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Andrew J. and Mary Etta (Bilbrey) Beasley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Claude Beasley, Chester Beasley, Herman Beasley, Osco Beasley, and Lum Beasley; and 3 sisters, Ella England, Mae Bilbrey, and Carolyn Geller.

Survivors include her husband, Jessie Arlo Reid of Livingston; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Peggy Reid and Donald and Vonda Reid, all of Rickman; 3 sisters-in-law, Willie P. Reid, Daisy Beasley, and Alba Reid; 4 grandchildren, Derwin Reid, Robyn Carwile, Donna Ray, and Donovan Reid; 2 great grandchildren, Lindsay Carwile and Bryson Carwile; and several other family members and friends.

Pallbearers were Bill Geller, Roger Clouse, David Reid, Earl Loftis, Cliff Carter, and Ralph McDonald.
