MRS. RONEY'S MOTHER
Zanesville,O., July 26. --- The death of
Mrs. Sarah A. Dickerson, mother of Mrs.
Roney, of Newark, occurred at 8:30 o'clock
Monday evening, at her residence on
Muskingum Avenue. The deceased had
been ill for some time of heart trouble. Her
death was not expected.
Mrs. Dickerson was 77 years of age and
was born in this county. She has spent nearly
all her life in this City. There are seven children
left to mourn her death. They are; Mrs. Hannah
Roney, Newark; Mrs. Celia Violet, Columbus;
W. L. Dickerson, Knoxville, Iowa; Mrs. Alice
Stewart and G. W. Dickerson, Hattie C.
Dickerson; of the home. Albert B. Dickerson,
Columbus.
The deceased was the widow of C. C.
Dickerson, who died August 30, 1885.
She was a most estimable Christian woman
and her death will be mourned by many friends
throughout the city. No funeral arrangements
have as yet been made.
