May Murphy
Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Murphy, living a few miles north of Osceola, died Sunday morning, January 13, 1907, at ten o'clock. She was born in Champaign county, Illinois, eighteen years ago and came with her parents to their Iowa home in 1893. She had been an invalid all her life and much of the time a great sufferer, so death came at last as a sweet release, although she will be sadly missed by the parents and brothers and sister, whose constant efforts were for her comfort.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Fremont church conducted by Rev. H. M. Mullen, after which the remains were laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.

Miss May Murphy died Sunday morning at her home near Fremont. She had been ill a long time. The funeral services were held Tuesday at 1 o'clock at Fremont church, conducted by Rev. Garrett.
