Alice was born April 4, 1912 in Virgin, Utah to Elisha and Eliza Lee. She was tenth of eleven children. Her mother died when she was only nine years old.
On September 22, 1934 she married Clyde Leroy Seckinger in Kanab, Utah. They were later sealed in the St. George LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on May 28, 1981.
Alice grew up in Virgin, Utah raised her family in Southern, Nevada and moved to Ridgecrest in 1987. She was an active member of the LDS Church and Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
Survivors include two sons and four daughters:
Janet (Robert) Hutchingd of Las Vegas;
Clydie (Arthur) Clayson of Ridgecrest;
Leroy (Flo) Seckinger Overton;
Steven "Reno" Seckinger of Overton;
Penny Smith of Ridgecrest;
Deanna Johnson of Coppell, Texas;
24 grandchildren and 53 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one infant son, Simon Ray, and all ten of her brothers and sisters.
