Patience NICHOLS, daughter of Thomas & Rebecca (JOSSELYN) NICHOLS, married (1st) John ANDREWS, son of Thomas & Ruth ANDREWS of Hingham, on 21d 12m 1685 in Hingham. They had three children born in Hingham: Patience, John, and Abigail. Patience was the only on the three who survived childhood. Patience (NICHOLS) ANDREWS husband John died in 1695 and she married (2nd) as his first wife to Joseph BEAL, son of Caleb Sr. & Elizabeth (HUET) BEAL of Hingham, on 12d 2m 1695/96 in Hingham. They had one daughter Elizabeth who was Joseph's only child. Though Joseph BEAL survived Patience (NICHOLS) ANDREWS-BEAL when she died in 1709 and remarried to Deborah THAXTER in 1717 he had no children with Deborah.
