Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 10th, at
2 p.m. at Pacific Mortuary in Toledo for Mrs Maude Fawver, 80, widow of William Marion Fawver, long time Central Lincoln County resident. Rev. Donald Whitney officiated at the services.
Mrs. Fawver passed away Sunday, April 7th at an Oregon City Hospital following a brief illness. She was born January 30, 1888 in Lane County and had been a lifetime resident of Oregon. She married William Marion Fawver at Oregon City in 1903. They lived at Eugene, Dallas and several other areas prior to coming to Toledo about 30 years ago. Mr. Fawver passed away in 1959. Mrs Fawver had lived in the Oregon City area for the past six years.
Survivors include: six daughters, Mrs. Goldie Jackson of Walton, Mrs. Edna Sturges of Silverton, Mrs.Geraldine Whitcomb of North Bend, Mrs. Grace Michna and Mrs. Clara Pote, both of Arcadia, Calif., and Mrs. Carold French of Hubbard; three sons, George of Klamath Falls, Archie of Toledo and Marion of Eddyville; 31 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Burial was in the family plot in Eureka Cemetery, Newport.
