Frostburg - Mrs. Gertrude A. McKenzie, 79, of 73 Ormond Street, died yesterday in the Western Maryland Center, Hagerstown, Md. A native of Avilton, she was a daughter of the late Cletus T. and Martha (Hetz) McKenzie. Her husband, Patrick R. McKenzie, preceded her in death. Mrs. McKenzie was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, the Sodality, and Women of the Moose. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Olive Johnson, here; Mrs. Patricia Shockey, Meyersdale, Pa.; Miss Dolores McKenzie, at home; a niece, Mrs. Helen Naughton, whom she raised, here; two sisters, Mrs. Nora Timney, Navora, Ohio; Mrs. Eleanor Broadwater, Canton, Ohio; a brother, Corey McKenzie, here; and two grandchildren. The body will be returned to the Durst Funeral Home, here.
