Emma Helton died at her home in the Arnco community after a two week illness. Rev. Paul Rowe officiated at the funeral.

At the time of her death, Emma was survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Rainey of Grantville, and Mrs. Hubert Perry, of Arnco, nine sons, Arthur and C. G. of Grantville, J. T of Sargent, J. A. of Lowell, Ga, L. G. of Whitesburg, R. M. of Newnan, and L L of Grantville; 68 grandchildren and 57 great grandchildren.
