AGAWAM - Robert N. Stack Jr., 31, a lifelong resident of this town, died suddenly on Sunday at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Born December 17th, 1970 in Hartford, CT, he was a graduate of Agawam High School, Holyoke Community College, and Westfield State College. He was employed by Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. as an Executive Account Manager in Retirement Services. Rob was always ready to help others and was especially good at fixing any lawn or snow removal equipment. He loved outdoor activities and being with his dogs, Sherlock and Trooper. Robert leaves his devoted wife, Susan (Rokosz) Stack at home; his loving parents, Melanie and Robert Stack of Agawam; loving sister and brother-in-law, Rosemarie and Rich Light of Agawam; nephews Tom and Seamus Light of Agawam; loving sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Christopher Kardos of Worcester; and niece Julia Kardos of Worcester. Beloved sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Kevin Bielanski of Westfield. He was the caring grandson of Rosemary Wood of Agawam and Cynthia Stack of Windsor, CT. He also leaves his loving uncle, Angelo Stack of Agawam; his in-laws, William and Irene Rokosz of Chicopee; and sister-in-law, Lynn Rokosz of West Springfield. Rob also leaves two longtime good friends, Peter Hallock Jr. of Agawam and Rick Warner of Long Island, New York. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will beheld Thursday morning at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
