Fred was married to Anna Marie Marz. She proceeded him in death in 1918 which left him a single father of two. A son named William and a daughter named Anna Marie. He sent them to live with friends John and Marie Milloy. Fred was a Railroad worker which found him living next in Toledo Ohio with his 2nd wife Belle (Myrtle Belle Smith). (married 1920 in Monroe, Michigan) Together they raised a son named Worth, (Leonard Worth Ford) from her previous marriage and had a little girl together named Wilda. They moved back to Mt Pleasant where they had a little girl in 1931. They lived on Washington Street in Mt. Pleasant until his death in 1939.
