JERRY HIGGINS
Ottumwa - Jerry G. Higgins, 67, of Ottumwa, died of pancreatic cancer Friday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. The body was cremated, and no services are planned.
Mr. Higgins was born in Granville and had lived in Des Moines until moving to Ottumwa two years ago. He was a retired engineer with the Dakota, Minnesota and Eastern Railroad. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; two sons, Jeffrey of Clear Lake and Brad of Ottumwa; two brothers, Duane of Corning and Bill of Arvada, Colo.; and four grandchildren.
