Born May 31, 1873 in Fandon a son of Abe and Arthalinda ( Adams ) Black.

Married Evelena Huston in 1904. She died October 8, 1931.

Surviving are 5 children : Otho, Miss Lucille, Mrs. Dorothy Kinman, Ed and Chester.

Sister Mrs. Doris Barkhuff, a brother Newt Black, 2 infant daughters : Nora and Dora are deceased.

John Black,72,Macomb,Dies at Hospital Here

John Black, 72, died about 6:00 last night at the St. Francis hospital after an illness of 10 days of apoplexy. He had resided in Colchester until May 1 when he moved to Macomb where he roomed at 126 West Calhoun street.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Friday afternoon at the Fandon Christian Church. The Rev. Ernest Louderman will officiate with interment in Bethel cemetery.

He was born May 31, 1873 in Fandon and was a son of Abe and Arthalinda ( Adams ) Black.

He was a retired farmer and carpenter.

In 1904 he was married to Evalenea Huston, who died October 8, 1931.

Surviving are five children, Otho Black and Miss Lucille Black of Macomb, Mrs. Dorothy Kinman of Cordova, Ed Black of Tennessee, and Chester Black, who is in the seabees. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Dora Barkhuff, a brother, Newt Black, both of Stanton, Mich., and four grandchildren.

Two infant daughters, Nora and Dora, are deceased.

Friends may call at the Williams Funeral Home, Colchester, until time of services.
