James Darrel Jenkins of Goodrich passed away. He was the son of Clarice Mae Clark & James Williams Jenkins. He attened the Alva, OK public schools. His grandfather Henry Eliab Jenkins was a spy for the Union Army during the Civil War.

Mr Jenkins married Clara Virgina Laycock Jul 31, 1935, Mrs Jenkins survives.
Mr Jenkins was a mechanic by trade & his employment caused him to live in several places. He was a memeber of the Methodist Church.

Other surviors include: 5 sons -- James D Jenkins Jr of OKC, David G Jenkins of Dayton, Ronny Williams Jenkins of Liberty, Richard D Jenkins of Baytown, & Don R Jenkins of goodrich; 6 daughters -- Virginia Jackson of OKC, LaJuana Smith of Liberty, Ruth Rerry of Grangerland, Sharon Collins of Conroe, Neena Thorn of Houston, & Gail Henderson of Goodrich; brother -- William E Jenkins of CA; sisters -- Eva Johnson of CO & Pearl Hawthorne of OK; 28 grandchildren, 4 gr-grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives & friends.

Rev Frank Hood conducted the funeral services Sunday at the Pase Funeral Home Chapel w/interment followed at Morgan Cemetery, Cleveland.

Pallbearers were Milton Baker, George Martin, Everitt Young, Larry Pritchett, Charles Isaacks, Ray Pursley, Steve Barker, & Billy Perry.
