While searching for military records for my ancestor, I found a muster roll with Nathan Haddock's name on it. It was for the 1st Art. of Home Guard of Marmaton, Bourbon County, Kansas, dated May 25, 1861, he was listed as a Private. This is on the Kansas State Historical Society's website, in the Adjutant General's records. Unfortunately it is not indexed. I know he is your Nathan because he and his family are on the 1860 Kansas territorial census for Bourbon county, dated August 9, 1860, the same page as my ancestor Samuel C. Simons, whose name was written as Clay Simmons.
